If you've ever wondered how pandesal dough would fare as a pizza crust, try Angel's Pizza. This place might not be the stuff from culinary wonder of the world Italy, it might even be blasphemous to call this place Italian. But, you go here for decent, affordable pizza, with a pandesal-like crust that's so soft and with the right amount of chewiness and crunch. I'm vegan so I don't eat dairy, and I bet you can imagine how much weird looks I get whenever I order pizza without cheese. You might even be wondering, why the hell are you even getting pizza? What is the point?!?! Well, I'm hungry (do not argue with me), and I can still enjoy pizza without cheese (it takes practice!), so I just ask them to double up the veggies, add some more mushrooms and pineapple, and drizzle some vegan mayo and sriracha at home, and I am satisfied. Their tater tots are also a good choice, if you decide you need more carbs in your system.
